The heart of the work
So why does it feel like you're slowly losing each other?
You remember what it felt like to be a team. Now a conversation can end with one of you hurt, the other misunderstood, without either of you knowing quite how you got there.
The person who once felt like home can become the place where you feel the most alone.
And when you're living expat life between different cultures, family expectations or ways of experiencing the world, there can be even more to navigate.
Therapy isn't about deciding who's right. It's about becoming a relationship where both partners feel heard, understood and valued, and where you stop fighting each other and start protecting what matters most: your relationship.
Areas of focus
You don't need to fit neatly into a category. These are some of the experiences that may have brought you here.
Two backgrounds, two families, and the task of building a shared home, sometimes far from both.
When different nervous systems, mental load and ways of communicating leave both partners feeling unseen.
When old arguments keep returning and you want to stop fighting each other, and start feeling like a team again.

How I work
We don’t just bring our differences into relationships. We bring our histories too.
I specialise in expat and mixed culture couples with complex relationship dynamics, where cultural differences, identities, neurodiversity and old attachment wounds often meet.
My approach blends Systemic Theory, Relational Life Therapy (RLT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), powerful tools for long lasting change, not just quick fixes.
The work is active and structured. We slow down the cycle between you, make sense of the emotions underneath it, and find a new way, one that is more honest, more connected and more workable for both of you.
The process
A clear map instead of endless talking.
Let's see if we're a match. You'll share a little about what's happening, and I'll explain how I work.
This is where we begin to go deeper. We explore your relationship story, the emotional cycle keeping you stuck, and what authentic connection could look like for you both.
We interrupt hurtful loops, build shared responsibility and practise repair, not just understanding.
Deep healing work plus practical tools can create lasting change.
About me
“I'm not a silent observer.”
Welcome, I'm Francesca, a systemic therapist based in Europe. I believe strong connections aren't accidental. They are shaped in the small, honest moments where we choose to turn toward one another.
Since every history and nervous system is unique, our work is never one size fits all. I integrate systemic insights with an active, relational approach to help you understand how your past shapes your present.
I work actively alongside you, offering reflections, practical tools and gentle challenges. Because understanding your pattern matters, but learning how to change it is where the work becomes real.
My practice is trauma informed, LGBTQ+ affirming and ADHD and autism informed. Our work is grounded in warmth and authenticity, proving that therapy doesn't have to feel clinical or distant to be deeply transformative.

That's okay. The free introductory video call is a chance to meet, ask questions and see whether this feels right for both of you.
I’m based in Europe and work online with English speaking couples across Europe, subject to country specific professional requirements.
